Fren Tubo Brake Lines for Ducati Classic Superbikes!

A note for you if you are looking here:  If you own an early Duc 748-749-888-900-916-996-998-999, Fren Tubo can make the correct lines for your bike.  BUT – there have been little variations in the model years, and even differences in the bikes sold in the U.S. and Europe.

For that reason, if you order these lines, we’ll get back to you for your VIN # and pictures of your caliper setup, to ensure Fren tubo makes the exact correct setup for your bike. They and us would rather get it exactly right the first time instead of building you a generic kit. the prices listed are VERY close to the actual price, but may vary by a few dollars once we communicate and know exactly which setup you need.

All Fren Tubo Lines are TUV/DOT Certified, and made to fit your bike correctly. It may seem like there’s alot of information in this listing, but it’s not something to be taken lightly.  Knowing the facts about brake lines lets you make the best choices for your safety and hard earned money. Fren Tubo lines are available in 4 specific types/material choices, and a variety of options. We’ll explain them here and we’re happy to answer any questions you might have. Fren Tubo uses only the highest quality components and never skimps on performance or safety. All kits includes front and rear lines, new banjos, seals, protectors and mounts when needed, and everything you need for a correct installation except brake fluid. Note: for steel banjo bolts, torque to 20Nm. for aluminum, torque to 15Nm

PLEASE NOTE: Some kits are available in both “direct” and standard  configurations:  “direct” refers to 2 lines from the front master cylinder, one to each caliper. Standard is one line from the master cylinder to a splitter. The standard configuration is more effective. If you want to understand why,we have more info for you in our sermons section to make sense of it.

The Fren Tubo Types:

• Type 1: steel braided lines (clear sleeve) with steel fittings. (sleeve colors listed below)
• Type 2: steel braided lines (clear sleeve) with red/blue Aluminum fittings. (Can be supplied with colored fittings and sleeves, listed below)
• Type 3: kevlar braided lines (blue sleeve) with red/blue Aluminum fittings. (Can be supplied with colored fittings and sleeves, listed below)
• Type 4: carbon braided lines with Aluminum black fittings. (These can be supplied with or without a clear sleeve, or with colored aluminum fittings as with the type 2 hoses)

Sleeve colors: Clear, black, blue, red, green, gray, orange, yellow, white.

Fitting colors: (type 2, 3, and 4). blue, red, or black
