TSS manufactures slipper clutches for many companies, including Yoyodyne. TSS uses aircraft grade aluminum alloy that is either hard coated or anodized for durability (depending on application.) Clutches are machined on state of the art CNC machines using the latest CAD/CAM engineering protocols.
Slipper clutches reduces rear wheel chatter on downshifting, allowing better chassis stability under braking and corner entry. This reduces the chances of crashing and allows the rider to reduce lap times as a result of better grip (because the wheel is never sliding.) Also, over revving your engine due to an incorrect gear change is eliminated.
Friction plates/steels not included. Uses stock friction plates/steels.
